Pontiac's sub-compact pares to a two-door coupe in one trim with three equipment packages available. It also earns a new powerplant with GM's EcoTec 2.2-liter in-line-four for 140 hp. A five-speed Getrag manual comes with the first package, but a four-speed automatic goes with the other two. New styling up front brings cat-eye headlamps flanking a revamped dual-port grille and integrated foglamps set in the fascia. A spoiler flying off the tail deck is also new, while a Sport suspension is optional. Patriotic new colors apply, like Victory Red, Summit White and Electric Blue Metallic.
