2003 Pontiac Grand Am Compact Sedan and Coupe

Rigged as either a two-door coupe or four-door sedan, the compact-class Grand Am looks sleek and clean in 2003 issues with bodyside cladding stripped away and smooth new fascia added fore and aft. The SE version returns but a new SE2 sedan emerges with more power and more standard equipment plus options. It draws from a 3.4-liter V6 engine good for 170 hp running through a four-speed automatic. SE totes the EcoTec twin-cam 2.2-liter four-pack engine rated at 140 hp. Grand Am GT coupe and sedan cap the series with the V6 linked to cold-air induction and a low-restriction exhaust. These enhancements kick it to 175 hp.
