Derived from Honda's global urban car called Jazz, the new five-door Fit lands in North America as a small-scale city car with big cabin space plus an economical powertrain. Fit's cabin contains the flexible "Magic Seat" where seatbacks fold flat or seat bottoms flip upright to vary the arrangement of seats and cargo space.

Honda's new car stocks lots of safety gear -- including curtain-style air bags, anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic brake distribution (EBD).

The engine for Fit is a 1.5-liter Honda VTEC four-pack with 109 hp through a five-speed manual or automatic shifter.
