As the Aaron's 499 rolled to a start on the high banks of Talladega Superspeedway, it was with one eye to the sky as the weather forecast predicted approaching afternoon storms. Perhaps NASCAR's most competitive track, the 2.66-mile tri-oval boasts some of the greatest finishes and most spectacular crashes in Winston Cup history. Raikkonen Wins Chaotic, Rain-Swept Brazilian Grand Prix

Kimi Raikkonen won todas action-packed Brazilian Grand Prix. He was declared the winner after two large accidents saw the race stopped with more than ten laps to go. Itals Giancarlo Fisichella finished second. Third place man, Fernando Alonso was unable to take his place on the podium as he injured his leg in the crash that ended the race. Six previous races at Texas saw six different winners, just as the six races of the season thus far have seen six different faces in victory lane. Barron To Replace Injured De Ferran At Motegi

Alex Barron will replace Gil de Ferran in a Marlboro Team Penske entry at the Indy Japan 300 on April 13 at Twin Ring Motegi, as de Ferran will not be cleared to drive for the event due to a back injury suffered in the IRL IndyCar event March 23 at Phoenix. Read More »
