QUESTION: I own a 1998 GMC Jimmy and have had constant problems with the wipers stopping or not working at all. After I was almost killed on I75 in a down pour, I began checking and see all of these recalls on the GNC wipers (timing board). The GMC truck dealer told me yes, it is a known problem but still want $200.00 to replace. How is that '96, '97 and some '98 Jimmys recalled? Why should I pay $200.00 for a GMC known problem? How do I get compensated before I am killed driving?
