Chrysler Group is growing its Jeep brand by launching the all-new 2007 Jeep® Compass, which will begin to arrive in U.S. dealerships and international markets in the third quarter of 2006. The company announced that the Compass' U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $15,985. Chrysler Group officials say the Jeep® Compass provides fuel economy, standard safety features (side-curtain airbags, ESP, ABS) and interior flexibility - at an affordable price - in the compact SUV segment. Experts predict the compact SUV segment will triple in volume by 2016 in the U.S. Chrysler Group expects the 2007 Jeep® Compass to contribute to this growth.
