Nantucket Harborside Hotel “The Cottages at the Boat Basin” Welcomes Dogs and Cats

Consisting of 23 newly renovated studio, one, two or three-bedroom cottages, The Cottages at the Boat Basin are in the heart of Nantucket Town, with waterfront or water view locations on the docks of Swain’s Wharf and Old South Wharf. Accommodating up to eight guests, the Cottages are ideal for families and, in designated “Woof” cottages, even for travelers with pets. All units are furnished with eat-in kitchenettes, full size refrigerators and ovens, polished pine floors, natural fabrics, Thierry Thiebault French bed linens, and stylish furniture.

Amenities include daily maid and concierge service, wireless in-room Internet access, cable television, VCR, radio/CD player, Air Conditioning, and hairdryer. Concierge service is also available and a full-service grocery store is nearby. Guests who arrive on the Hy-Line ferry will be met and transferred to the Cottages by car.

Regular rates for the spring season, from May 16, 2006 to June 29, 2006, and for the fall season, September 5, 2006 to closing on October 22, 2006, are:

  • Studios: $170 - $470
  • One bedroom: $170 - $645
  • Two bedrooms: $250 - $780
  • Three bedrooms: $580 - $860

For guests 50 years and older, there is a 50% discount on regular spring room rates, from May 16, 2006 to June 29, 2006 (seven days a week), and from September 5, 2006 to October 22, 2006 (Sunday through Thursday). Only one room occupant must be 50 or over to qualify.

Rates are per room, per night, and subject to availability. A minimum two-night stay is required for weekends. Some restrictions apply. There is a $25 non-refundable deposit for the Woof Cottages.
