Santa Clara’s Top Five Free Things to See and Do in Silicon Valley

On a budget? Look no further for FREE (and fun) things to see and do than in Santa Clara, California. The "Top Five" list includes the Intel Museum, Mission Santa Clara de Asis, Triton Museum of Art, de Saisset Museum, and "Stroll into the Past." All are free with no admission charge.

The Intel Museum is located at the computer giant's headquarters and offers three major exhibits that immerse visitors in the workings of Intel. The Intel Museum and Intel Museum Store are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Another free visitor attraction is the Mission Santa Clara de Asis. This historic mission is the eighth of 21 in California and is located on the picturesque campus of Santa Clara University.

Other free things to see and do in Santa Clara include the de Saisset Art Museum, also located at Santa Clara University, and the Triton Museum of Art. The de Saisset has a permanent collection of American, European, African, and European Art, plus a California history display.
