Bars: Guests Sample Their Favorite Libations at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Variety is the spice of life and La Hacienda, the gourmet Mexican restaurant at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, is incorporating that idea in its margarita menu with a new flight of samplers. The La Hacienda Margarita Flight features five different mixes, making it easy for those who have trouble choosing just one. Guests can enjoy The Princess Margarita, La Hacienda’s signature margarita made with Gold Tequila and Raspberry Chambord; The Prickly Pear Margarita, incorporates flavors from the Sonoran Desert with gold tequila and prickly pear cactus juice; Cantaloupe Margarita, a refreshing melon-flavored margarita with gold tequila served “up;” The Midori Melon Margarita, a unique and delicious combination of midori melon liqueur and Gold Tequila; and The La Hacienda Margarita, a classic presentation with El Tesoro Anejo tequila and a shot of Cointreau. The La Hacienda Margarita Flight is $16.

If port or sherry is more your taste, head over to Marquesa where Mediterranean cuisine is blended with Spanish, Italian and French influences. This elegant restaurant provides guests with the unique opportunity to taste various samples of its new collection of 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-year-old ports - appropriately named 100 Years of Tawny Port. The cost is $40. Marquesa also offers a Tasting Flight of three Emilio Lustau Sherries, which includes a light Fino, a ripe Amontillado and the San Emilio, Pedro Ximinez. The cost is $10.
