Summary: 2001-2003 Ford Windstar vehicles manufactured from March 7, 2001, through November 5, 2002. The seat floor-to-seat latch can release under load.

Consequence:

Remedy: Owners will be instructed to take their vehicles to an authorized ford dealer to have the seat latch replaced free of charge. Ford has not yet provided the agency with a notification schedule.
