Carbon-Fibre

A composite material, similar to fiberglass, made of a fibrous material coated with carbon. Car parts are formed from the material and hardened by baking. Parts made from this material replace many that use to be made of metal including chassis, brakes, dashboards etc. Carbon-fibre is light-weight and stronger than steel. Most high performance race car chassis are made entirely of Carbon-fibre.
