Air Dam

Located below the front nose, this piece of Kevlar material is structured for aerodynamics. If the air is going over the car instead of through the car, it is going to go faster. The amount of frontal downforce on a car can be increased if the car is sitting lower to the ground, which will decrease the amount of airflow under the front end. The idea is to keep the air from going under the car. That adds more downforce to the front of the car, and less drag.
