The 2008 Ford Econoline full-size Cargo Van (MSRP $23,725 - $28,775) is available in E-150, E-250, and E-350 SD (Super Duty) trim levels. The Ford Econoline Cargo is part of the Ford E-Series. The E-Series is related to the Ford F-Series line of pickup trucks.1 The line was introduced in 1961 as a compact van and its descendants are still produced today.2 This model is currently assembled in Avon Lake, Ohio and Lorain, Ohio.
This model competes with the Chevrolet Express Cargo, Dodge Sprinter, Dodge Sprinter Cargo, and the GMC Savana Cargo.
