So from what I hear the Rio has been making waves in the car
market recently.  I’ve been doing some work with Kia and
there has been a lot of talk  about the JD Power award they
recently won.  It’s surprising because I like Kia cars but
that’s not something I expected.  On the other hand it’s
really cool to see an auto company working hard on
improving their cars and not just going through the
motions. Has anyone heard about this or agree with me?  Let
me know.

We've test driven a lot of Kia products and have liked all
of them. We took a nice trip in a Kia Sportage and found it
comfortable, pretty good on gas, very attractive, and well
constructed. 

Given the warrantees that are available for all Kia and
Hyundai products, the financing deals,  substantially
improved performance and an ever increasing number of
dealerships available to service them, these products are
definately worth concideration.

Are they as reliable as a Toyota? No, they aren't. But they
are significantly less expensive and have longer warrantees.
You'll be inconvenienced more often with repairs on Kia and
Hyundai products, but you'll also get more car for the
money.

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a new Kia or Hyundai if you
find one that you like. Times have changed, and so has this
Korean automaker.

If the country where your product is built is of concern to
you, you are more likely to find a Toyota built in the US
than a Hyundai or Kia.
