I recently bought 2004 Sienna XLE. The vehicle was to come
with moon roof and overhead DVD console. The Tuesday after
the sale I delivered the car to dealer to get the dvd player
installed. At 5:00 p.m. the service guy calls and saids he
cannot get the overhead dvd player in because of moonroof
and if i will take the two headrest mounted screens
instead. I don't want the headrest mounted ones. Can I
return the car and get one without of moonroof. A I
screwed. Do i have to take what he is offering.

Make them give you what they promised. They are such a
dishonest bunch of thieves. If it is in your contract, you
get it. Don't let them get away with not giving you what
you paid for and agreed to.

It is sad when dealers don't know their own products, but it
is not unusual. I have seen it first hand. He is probably
right though, if you want the moonroof you are going to
have to go with the headrest mounted seats. It is a pretty
much aneither or situation bacuse they occupy the same
territory in your roof. However, you should try to get your
money back if you don't want to keep the Van because the
salesperson missrepresented the situation.

I agree with the previous post: "dishonest bunch of
thieves". For more on this subject, visit
