Hyundai's unibody front-wheel-drive (FWD) SUV shows up in an expanded package for 2007 with two powertrain options and class-leading standard safety content. The new body measures about seven inches longer, an inch wider and two inches taller. With extra cabin space, there's room for three tiers of seats with an optional third-row bench.

A base 2.7-liter V6 produces over 180 hp, while the available 3.3-liter V6 brings more than 230 hp.

Electronically controlled all-wheel-drive (AWD) traction is available with the larger V6, while safety gear includes electronic stability control (ESC), active head restraints and curtain-style air bags.
