Honda has other fresh ideas for products due during 2005, such as Ridgeline -- the line's first pickup that's described as a SUT, or sport-utility truck. Honda builds it on the unibody structure also used for the Pilot SUV and Odyssey minivan.

Ridgeline has a four-door cab and five-foot truck bed designed to carry sports stuff like bikes or backpacks, even a skimobile. Looking like it was carved from a solid block of metal, the new truck poses with a wide stance and stubby front-end.

The cabin, comparable to quarters of a SUV, holds two rows of seats for five riders beneath a moonroof.

Power stems from a high-output 3.5-liter V6 with optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) system offered.
