Ford reworks the full-size SUV for 2007 with two new versions -- the standard-length Expedition and a stretched EL ("extended length") edition. Expedition EL has the wheelbase lengthened by a foot with more room in big cabin including 24 cubic feet of additional cargo space.
Styling for the body changes to look strong with a bold face borrowed from Ford's F-150 truck.
There's muscle aboard too due to Ford's 5.4-liter Triton V8 pumping 300 hp through a six-speed automatic transmission, plus huge torque to elevate the tow capacity to 9100 pounds. A power liftgate is optional.
