A new crossover SUV joins Ford's line for 2007 and tucks in size-wise sequence between the compact Escape and mid-size Explorer. Edge carries car-like mechanical components such as MacPherson struts up front and a four-link suspension in back for easy-driving and smooth-riding traits.
