Cadillac's two-seat XLR sports car, built on a rear-wheel drive platform also used for racy Corvette, is the foundation for another high-performance v-badged model dubbed XLRv. This luxurious hardtop coupe drops its lid with the push of a console switch to become an airy roadster.

Like the STSv, it stocks the supercharged 4.4-liter NorthStar V8 to deliver 443 hp through a six-speed automatic transmission.

XLRv rolls on new 10-spoke aluminum wheels with silver finish and sports a stainless steel mesh grille up front, bigger performance brakes, recalibrated Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) settings and revised suspension stabilizer bars.
