Big Finale for the European Woman’s Cup

Although one title is already assigned one race in advance (European Champion class 600 Chiara Valentini), there is still an open battle on for the second place, same class, between the dutch Iris Ten Katen (36 pts.), the slovenian Urska Turnsek (34 pts.), the italian Simona Zaccardi (33 pts.) and the french Lidya Jean (27 pts.).

In the class 1000 the race will see Paola Cazzola (winner in the Italian Championship 2006) with 66 pts., Alessia Polita (60 pts.) and Samuela de Nardi (57 pts.) contending the title.

Besides these riders, in Cartagena we will see the other protagonists of this European Cup: the french Fabienne Migout, the italians Sharon Mermet and Samantha Palmucci, the dutch Susanne Bolhaar and also new riders from other countries: from England Susie Greyson, from Switzerland Jessica Jaggi, fron Spain Mireia Clavijo and from Canada Cathrine Provost.
