EagleRider, World’s Largest Renter of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Adds New Choices to the Tours of Suntrek

LOS ANGELES, Two of the country's most prominent adventure tour operators, EagleRider and Suntrek, announced today that they have joined forces in a new program that will offer Harley-Davidson motorcycles in Suntrek's new 2004 tour catalog.

Suntrek, based in Santa Rosa, CA., operates adventure and active tours in small international groups throughout the U.S., including Alaska, as well as Canada and Mexico. The groups, which are accompanied by a trained tour leader, travel in specially designed maxi-vans, explore national parks and sights and get involved in optional adventure activities such as river rafting, helicopter flights, horse back riding and jeep tours. Accommodations range from camp sites, cabins or ranches to tourist class hotels.

EagleRider, headquartered in Los Angeles, rents the complete Harley-Davidson motorcycle line, as well as its Adventure Rentals featuring all-terrain vehicles (ATV), personal watercraft and dirt bikes. EagleRider has 30 locations in major U.S. cities, as well as rental locations in Mexico, Spain and France.

In the new Suntrek/EagleRider alliance, Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be made available to those Suntrek tour participants who would prefer the "open air" on a motorcycle. Suntrek's two-week "Gold Rush Tour" starts from $1,995 that includes riding an EagleRider motorcycle. Participants obtain free miles on the motorcycle, all national park entrance fees paid, and visits and accommodations as per the Suntrek tour itinerary.

Suntrek's tour departure points are located in many EagleRider cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

Chris McIntyre, EagleRider president, said, "Our new alliance provides adventure travelers and motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to tour North America on an EagleRider motorcycle under the expert care of professional Suntrek leaders."

Daniel Hiltebrand, Suntrek president said, "The EagleRider feature adds exciting new choices to our tour selection. The motorcycle availability will attract a variety of travelers of all ages."
