Juniper Springs Lodge, in Mammoth Mountain, California, is one of the regions new, premier mountain lodges for year round vacationing. Juniper Springs Lodge is located on the mountain's eastern rise, for easy access to ski lifts and mountain biking trails.

Getting on and off the mountain is easy. The Little Eagle Base Lodge, right outside the front door of the Juniper Springs Lodge lobby takes you directly up the mountain. You can be on the slopes in minutes without the need to take a shuttle to the lifts -- convenient and fast!

The Lodge offers studio to three bedroom hotel rooms as well as townhouse accommodations. The property is luxurious and styled after an alpine chalet. The rooms are "mountain rustic" and are warm and inviting - gas fireplaces, televisions with VCRs, internet, telephone, humidifiers, daily housekeeping and balcony. Many rooms have moutain views. There is a large outside pool and jacuzzi with a view of Mammoth Mountain. The perfect combination for a relaxing evening after a day of skiing in the Sierras.

For those guests to prefer to cook their own means many rooms have a full kitchen and dining area. For those who don't want to cook there are many restaurants close by. Talons Restaurant, located in the adjacent Little Eagle Base Lodge, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from November through April. However the Lodge has no restaurant. There is however a convenience store for gifts, beer, soda and a hot cappuccino with a sweet roll in the morning -- just the thing to grab before hitting the slopes.

Juniper Springs Lodge provides amenities such as bell service, 24-hour reception, workout rooms, ski lockers, underground parking and meeting facilities. Lift tickets can be purchased in the lobby.

Mammoth Mountain is 307 miles from Los Angeles, around a five and a half hour drive, and is 395 miles from San Diego.
