Instruction Permit

Age 15 +

Requirements

• Written test.
• Instruction Permit for Restricted License (at least 14)

Restrictions

• Permit in immediate possession.
• Accompanied by driver at least 1 year & at least 18, fit & capable of exercising control over the vehicle & occupying seat beside the driver.

Driver’s License

Age 16+

Requirements

• Have held Instruction Permit minimum 10 days.

Restricted License

• At least 14.
• Can show there is an extreme inconvenience.
• Must be approved by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Requirements

• Drive only between 5:00 a.m. & 8:00 p.m.
• Within 50 mile radius of domicile.
• Only at direction of parent or guardian.
