William Siuru, Phd. – Journalist

William D. Siuru, Jr., PhD, PE is a long time contributor to CyberAd Media, Inc. publications including NewCarBuyingGuide.com. Bill specializes in articles on automotive technology, recreational vehicles and collector and antique cars.

While Bill Siuru spent most of his professional career in the USAF, retiring as a Colonel, he is a motorhead at heart. He has refurbished and restored several cars, mostly Volvos, including a couple of 1800s.

For many years he reviewed cars for Autoweek, Autowire, Seniors, Machine Design, Kelly Blue Book, etc. Currently, he reviews RVs for Woodalls Regional Publications.

Bill's military career include being a professor at West Point where, among other subjects, he taught automotive engineering. He was also the commander of the Seiler Research Lab. at the U.S. Air Force Academy. His final assignment was as Director of Engineering at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio.

Bill has a BSME (Wayne State University), MSAE (Air Force Institute of Technology) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Arizona State University). He is registered in Professional Engineering.

He is currently the Technical Editor for the Green Car Journal, DieselProgress and Police and Security News. He also writes for many other publications including Old Cars Weekly, Law & Order, Senior Wire, Skinned Knuckles, Popup Times, Road King, Naval Proceeding, Progressive Farmer, and others.

Bill currently lives in Temecula, CA with daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons.
